hey!

So recently ive been practicing a lot of metal rhythm guitar. Alternate picking at its finest. Ive been practicing an excersize that is constant down picking, then adding a gallop on certain beats. However I noticed that my pick is constantly slipping due to my sweaty fingers. I play rhythm guitar with a closed hand, maybe that might be the problem?

I feel that this is kind of hindering my progress to an extent. Its hard to readjust the pick with no breaks and even harder to try and gallop when the pick is just slipping further and further back into your hand. I use jim dunlop tortex jazz III's by the way, i don't know if that makes a difference either.

Any suggestions, tips, comments are greatly appreciated! Keep rocking everyone!
