Hey guys,

I'm making a quiz for some local club and one of the rounds is a music round (duh).

Here's my problem: Phil Collins' wikipedia told me this:

Collins is one of only three recording artists (along with Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson) who have sold over 100 million albums worldwide both as solo artists and (separately) as principal members of a band.

Now, Collins and McCartney I understand, but what band was Michael Jackson part of that sold over 100 million records? Could someone explain? Or am I not getting this right?

Grtz,

The Jackson 5. It says 100 million both as solo artists and band members, i don't think it means that the solo career sold that much and the band career sold that much but that it's cumulative. either way they were certainly a popular group that sold well
