In the morning when I wake up
I stumble outta bed
Try to drag my ass around
Got this rhythm in my head

It aint no heavy metal
But not quite the blues
A little rock n roll
A really set you loose

Lets rock this place baby
Lets start a fire
Rock this place tonight
We can get it higher
Rock this place baby
We can keep it tight
Lets rock this place tonight

Well its around about noon now
Still stumbling around
Just strapin on my guitar
Gotta try to catch that sound

From power chord to open
From A to that D
A little rock n roll
A really set you free

Lets rock this place baby
Lets start a fire
Rock this place tonight
We can get it higher
Rock this place baby
We can keep it tight
Lets rock this place tonight

Well lets get on with the show
Yeah i got all my gear
Im ready to rock this place
Lets show them why I'm here

Lets rock this place baby
Lets start a fire
Rock this place tonight
We can get it higher
Rock this place baby
We can keep it tight
Lets rock this place tonight

Thinkin 50s style vocal with a lil post punkish bite...
Too cliche?

I think the 50's style vocal would go great with the lyrics since they themselves have a 50's vibe to em.
And everything that once was
infinitely far
and unsayable is now
unsayable
and right here in the room.

Personally, I love the cliche rock lyrics like this. Reminds me a tad bit of Boston's RocknRoll band. I like it. Have any music for it yet? Cause I'm hearing like an A shuffle in my head.

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album
