Basically, all music now owes everything to Les Paul.

I guess I just say this because I'm from the same place (driven down the Les Paul Parkway a couple times). The ad in the middle of that is hysterical.

But seriously, the dude basically invented recorded music as we know it. I'm trying to think of another inventor who is as prevalent, but Edison, DaVinci don't even seem prolific enough.
