Trying to get a feel for what each of amps specializes in, with their pros and cons. Just looking for something quick - not terribly in depth explanations (but if want to more than welcome!). Not overly familiar with these brands/amps. Thanks in advance!

H&K tubemeister

Rivera chubster

Egnater Rebel

Egnater Tweaker

Mesa 5:50 plus

H&K tubemeister - its decent.

It really depends on what one you're talking about. My 5 watter is VERY harsh, thin and brittle sounding (this is using semi and full hollows even) . super bright, so single coils and gain don't mix well. 5 watts is too loud to really crank at home and too quiet to play in a band unmiced.

However It sits well in a band setting though

THEY'RE NOT ALL TUBE.

Egnaters seem to be well liked + they sound great fro the price.

I had the 15 watt Egnater. I'd sum it up with Jack of most trades, master of few.

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album

H&K tubemeister- pretty meh and distortion sucks

Rivera chubster- nice cleans

Egnater Rebel- OK amp, but not for me

Egnater Tweaker- I was very underwhelmed

Mesa 5:50 plus- nice amp

Tubemeister- pretty lights, homely sound

Chubster- never heard of it, I dig the name though

Rebel- I miss my Rebel, imo its the best amp you can buy for the price. Chimey, chubby cleans, and a fierce, righteous growl. Versatile in every sense but master at mid-gain crunch. I drug mine around everywhere without the slightest problem. I would still be sporting the Rebel if I didn't get an RM and then need money for a guitar.

5:50- Never tried one. I know you'd be hard pressed to find any disappointed Mesa owners though

H&K tubemeister - the lights are very nice!

Rivera chubster - never tried it.

Egnater Rebel - bland, like it's a few things but not in depth.

Egnater Tweaker - meh.

Mesa 5:50 plus - Colin gave the best explanation.
Name's Luca.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

funny how opinions differ so much - guess depends on personal preferences.

Yep it is awesome here, lots of hot women in bikini's everywhere

The HRD has a nice clean channel, but the drive channel is not that great.

Classic 30 is a decent amp, but I'd go with the head and get a cab
