Hey guys, so a while back i put up a thread about a custom build i was getting done, originally set out to be a 28-30" telecaster. After hearing some feedback from you guys, we tweaked the project a little and have been able to make headway on the build!

We decided to drop the scale length to 27.625 - 28.625, cutting an inch from the fan and allowing us to keep the truest telecaster shape we could. Also we will set the bridge further back in the body, rather than making the guitar super neck heavy.

Body shape cut out

The body with a test neck to check the fit, snug as anything!

Back carving begins, no front carve since it's a tele.

First look at the guitar with the proper neck set in.

Over head view, starting to come to life!

Over all i'm super excited to see how this build turns out, the staining will begin today so i'll keep you guys posted throughout the week!
