This one was kind of impulse I admit. I'd been looking for a fuzz for a while but had no idea what I was looking for. The pedal came up on the classifieds and I knew Tim from around UG so I thought I'd check it out.

The pedal's a silicone based fuzz with a single knob operation. From about 0-3 the volume is consistent however after it becomes a lot louder and pushes the power section. The fuzz itself is mid-high gain with quite a thick sound when you roll off the tone - almost like a EHX big muff. With tone dimed it's still got a little bit of splutter however it really cuts through the mids. The LED is MEGA bright. Lights up my whole room.

Been thrashing it the past few days - it absolutely NAILS the Eric Johnson sound in the lower gain stages of the pedal. Cliffs of Dover sounds as close as I've ever heard it through my American HRD.

Really stoked with it.

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

HNFD! Glad to see some support for UG's own pedal builders c:

If I may ask, what is that pedal with Jake on it?

This will answer both of your questions.

What you can't see is that I'm running two amps - a Fender HRD and a Jim Root Terror. The Jake pedal is an A/B/Y I built. So going from the right side is my HRD's signal chain (fuzz>input) on the left is the terror's chain (wah>monkey>input). Still need to find a delay/chorus pedal and then I'll be happy with the board.

Here's a gut shot of the pedal:
