So I've been playing an Orange TH30 for like the last 5 months or so. I really do like it a lot, and I think it's a great amp, but I'm extremely picky about the tone I want and with the TH30, it's very limited as far as EQ-ing goes; Volume > Shape > Gain for the dirty channel, and Volume > Treble > Bass for the clean channel. The dirty channel is especially limited because you either go from a bluesy rock sound to basically just a high gain sound, there's really no in between with it unless you turn the gain down, but then it's not as strong.

I want a tone similar to these tunes:

Like I want to be able to get really heavy tones too because I do venture into a lot heavier genres sometimes, but I play a lot of music by ^ those 3 bands. I basically just need something with more for EQ, I'm just not sure what. Any suggestions would help, and I'm pretty much looking at either selling the TH30 then buying a new one or trying to find a trade somewhere.

i think a mesa would be good for yellow card. i don't think its anything near the orange.

sleeping with sirens could be a little orangish.

You can also vary volume and tone from your guitar...

Sounds like you need something with more control but you don't mention price. On the high end Mesa Mark V, or Fryette Sig X would be great options. On the lower end used JSX or something from Egnater's Tweaker range.

You have to figure out what you really want. You're going to have to make sacrifices. You mentioned 3 bands you're going for who play 3 different things. You're not going to find all 3 of those tones in one amp. Sleeping with Sirens actually use TH30s so you have one covered.

From my experience with the TH30, which I love, it does become limited tone wise a little bit. I put an EQ pedal through the loop and it opened the amp up a bit. Then again I bought the orange because it was exactly what I was after, I do not expect it to cover every facet. Like said above you will need multiple amps for that.
Gibson LP traditional and DC standard, PRS S2 Custom 24, MIA Standard Strat, Charvel So Cal Pro Mod, Schecter Banshee 7

i love my sig:x. its been packed away for a while. it is extremely versatile, the first channel does a really nice clean, and a broad array of cleans, the second channel can either be pretty clean with a little bit of dirt, or heavier (one gain stage short of the lead) and the lead can get really nice and creamy smooth and still have a nice bite. i think it is quite under-rated.
