remember when we used to feel
we were in charge of gravity
and we'd decide how the planets aligned
and how the tides would turn at sea

now we're poles apart, and you're an afterthought
(I'm running free and I'll never be caught)
you're antarctica, I'm the arctic fox
(I'm the big freeze, getting harder to touch)
come on, come on, come on
we're worlds apart
come on, come on, come on
and it can never be stopped

remember when we used to see
our future in the infinity
and we'd combine our visions, entwine
the hopes and fears into tapestry

now we're poles apart, and you're an afterthought
(I'm running free and I'll never be caught)
you're antarctica, I'm the arctic fox
(I'm the big freeze, getting harder to touch)
come on, come on, come on
we're worlds apart
come on, come on, come on
and it can never be stopped

you asked for space, so I gave you space
I gave you all of eternity

(I wanted space, but you gave me more
I'd come back in but you've given up the door)

now we're poles apart, and you're an afterthought
(I'm running free and I'll never be caught)
you're antarctica, I'm the arctic fox
(I'm the big freeze, getting harder to touch)
come on, come on, come on
we're worlds apart
come on, come on, come on
we're worlds apart.

Im hearing the verses as a building vocal and the chorus as a louder scream (or more immediate vocal) with the bracket parts as a whisper or a female voice. It has great flow and rock to the melody. Post a link if you record it!
