Do you see different hues when viewing through just one eye?

For example, from my left eye, everything looks "cool," while from my right, everything looks "warm."

When I look through both, everything looks normal.

When I close both everything goes black and I freak out for a minute but then I realize I'm not dead.

Pls share

Yes I noticed it before, right eye has a slight warmer/reddish tint. Maybe there are a few more red receptors in my red eye, or exploded blood vessels or Satan or whatever. It's also the eye I see worse with.

No, I have a hard time identifying colors when they are tiny though. Like orange/red , green/blue
#10
I don't have any kind of issue like that, but if you close one eye for a really long time while the other is left open, the closed eye goes into 'night vision' mode.
That has a similar effect to what you're describing.

Yes, but only if I close my eye and absorb light for a while. Otherwise, I just see regularly.

I do in certain locations (mono-coloured rooms, places with yellow lighting), and I'd describe it exactly as the OP does.

Literally, this

This is normal for almost everybody.

I have a very specific version of this between my two eyes. When it comes to bright greens, reds, or blues, especially neon or electric lights, my eyes see the colors slightly differently. The effect is slightly disorienting, like wearing 3D glasses. It's kinda trippy.

lol apparently not

the only thing i have is i seem to have trouble identifying real dark shades of green and brown and confuse them with each other and black. or at least my mom says so.

How can you be so unaware that it takes this to make you realize your eyes aren't the same? lol

I don't know about you, but my brain does this cool thing where it combines the two images from both eyes so that I perceive it as one image, but with a sense of depth, so when I have both eyes open I can't tell. I'm also not in the habit of looking at shit with one eye closed, because that sense of depth perception is pretty nice. Do you regularly compare your eyes? Seems like something someone would only start doing once they know they have a problem, not before.

Do you not have eye exams, ever? You look through one eye at a time for those.

Also, for vision, my left eye is terrible but my right eye is alright. Together, they're good.

I haven't had one in several years - looks like I should have. Oh well, I'll have to set up an appointment with an eye doctor ASAP.

I've got a tiny black speck in my left eye that moves around in my vision. Forget what its called but its damn annoying. The only good thing about it is I can shut my other eye and pretend I have a built in gun turret sight that I can shoot things with.

Actuallt, now that you mention it, yeah, I have this too. It's in my right one. I never learned what it was called though.

They're called floaters.

http://www.eyeinstitute.co.nz/the-eye/eye-problems-and-symptoms/eye-floaters-and-flashes.htm

Caused by stress, drinking too much, and other things apparently. Supposedly you get used to it and forget it's there but it doesn't go away without some kind of surgery.
