Hey guys, I came across a deal on craigslist

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/msg/4945904107.html

So I just bought a pink taco so I dont need another amp, but I dont have anything that can do Mesa type gain and I know this can do it, and if this is a pretty good deal I might aswell, what do you guys think about this amp/and is it worth it?

Thanks.

No, I think you have too much GAS Didn't you get a Randall as well?

Just enjoy what you have for now. If you really want Mesa tone, buy a Mesa later on...

Nah, I was just curious about if they sucked or not haha

the cab isn't the best but that is actually a pretty good price for that. the bogner line 6 amps really aren't that bad and certainly better than any spyder.
#5
Nothing special, not awful, but still quite digital sounding.

Let's put it this way, the Line 6/Bogner stuff is by far the worst stuff Reinhold put his name on.

I had a SV HD100 and it was a pretty cool amp. I kinda wish I would have kept it. But at that price even with the cab (which is pretty crap) I'd pass

If you want a Mesa why not just buy one. A 50 Cal is no BS Mesa tone:

Here is a DC2 for $450 Wow!

"Your sound is in your hands as much as anything. It's the way you pick, and the way you hold the guitar, more than it is the amp or the guitar you use." -- Stevie Ray Vaughan

"Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherfucker who plays it is 80 percent." -- Miles Davis

Those are the most underrated Mesa amps along with Studio/Quad Pres and Electra Dynes imo

Its not a bad deal at all. Modeling AND tube! I almost bought one a while back...ending up with a Peavy 3120 instead (which I highly recommend) but you could do worse...lets put it that way.

A friend of mine has a 50 cal head, he might sell it, I prefer heads anyway.
