I play mostly hard rock / hair metal (guns, cinderella, early def leppard and scorpions)
Is the new dsl40c a good amp for this? I love marshall but maybe its just because im a big slash fan
are they really good as older model (jcm800 80s era) used to be.
what about the dsl2000 401
I want tube, loud enough to rehearse with a loud drummer, fx loop

thanks

The JCM2000 DS401 is a better amp, I'd get one of those
2002 PRS CE22
2013 G&L ASAT Deluxe
2009 Epiphone G-400 (SH-4)
Marshall JCM2000 DSL100
Krank 1980 Jr 20watt
Krank Rev 4x12 (eminence V12)
GFS Greenie/Digitech Bad Monkey
Morley Bad Horsie 2
MXR Smart Gate

They're meh imo, Jet City are better.

You could try for a DSL head and a 2x12 as well, which would be even better.
