If you could form a band, using anybody you wanted, who would you choose and why?

Example, I'll start.

I'd have Joey Jordinson on drums, while he tends to be a dick I hear, I love his style and intensity. Very good at keeping the song moving.

Twiggy on guitar just because his grooves are so damn catchy.

Flea on bass. Probably the most talented bassist around.

For vocals, I'd choose Chino Moreno. He can sing, scream, rap whatever and transition between each so well.

In my imagination, that would be an intense.band with heavy mind blowing grooves.

Jerry Mercer (April Wine) on drums
Chris Squire (Yes) Bass
Ian Bairnson (Alan Parsons Project) Guitar
David Gilmour Guitar
Jim Gilmour (Saga) Keyboards
Steve Perry Vocals

Would be a damned interesting sound.

Tim Collis - guitar
Alan Sparhawk - guitar + vox
Adrienne Davies - drums
John Zorn - sax

Not sure on bass. Not many standard indie/rock bassists really stand out to me. Paul Chambers is one I dig a lot. Or the dude from TTNG, too, as his phrasings are excellent

Edgar Meyers would be perfect for you. He's more of a jazz/bluegrassclassical guy but he would fit in well.
