Hey guys,

So i just want to see what my BJ3 will sound like through a cab, it has an 8-ohm speaker so if i just unplug the internal speaker and put an 8 ohm cab in its place will that be fine or are there adjustments that have to be made for it to work?

If no adjustments are necessary what cab would you recommend?

Cheers

Easy as that. 1x12/2x12/4x10/4x12 all work fine if 8 ohm cabs. Have a party!

what type of tones are you after?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Just a good heavy distortion tone

any examples (bands i mean) of the type of heavy distortion tone you want? what pedal(s) and guitar(s) are you using to get that tone?

Hmmm....

That's not generally the tone associated with a BJR?
