Hey there!
I know that the following question is ambiguous, and kinda open to interpretion. (I figured that, as I haven't found a single article about it.)

I wanna know how to write a dark song on guitar, using the short cut of chord sequence. I want it to be in Am. (AND I wanna know how in G also, if possible.)

A little music theory wouldn't hurt.
Thanks in advance.

Try Im - VIm. In Am it would be: Am - Fm

And in Gm: Gm - Ebm

Another one good one is : Am - F7 - E7

You can use diminshed chords too. This arpeggios played slowly sound really dark for me:

E|----------------------------|---------------------------
B|----------------5----------|---------------4-----------
G|-------------5-------------|-------------5-------------
D|----------7----------------|----------7----------------
A|-------7-------------------|-------6-------------------
E|----------------------------|---------------------------

Or augmented chords also give a dark sound.
