I'm really not sure where this should go, le mods, please move it to the right forum if this is the wrong place.

Basically, I want to study songs which are piano guitar "duets", not like a classical song that has a piano and a guitar, but something more modern, say a piano chord progression with a guitar soloing over it.

Could anyone please point me in the right direction?

I'd just write my own.

I'm interested in hearing something like that as well

That's the thing. I want to write my own, but really can't find a precedent. I've written a backing track, a bit like Porcupine Tree's "Lazarus", but can't get around what to write as a solo.

Don't know if this is your style or not, but Jordan Rudess and John Petrucci from Dream Theater have an album of just the two of them playing together.

Too much in the other direction lol, I love this album, but its almost all prog wankery, I'm looking for something simpler, like Joe Satriani type, rather than uber tech prog.
