I've bought my Tokai SG a bit more than a year ago and only now started wondering... Is my Tokai SG a Tokai SG 35 or 43? How can you spot the difference? My SG is a chinese made, on the back of the neck it reads: "C103967" and the neck is bolted. I'm interested in this because I want to know if the price I paid was good enough. Main point of the question: are there some physical differences easy to notice between a 35 and a 43? Thanks to anyone who bothers to answer

best bet is to check out the tokai registry forum- hopefully someone there can answer

normally the tokai models are based on the price in yen so the model number can change even though it's the same model. Not sure about your guitar specifically but that might be the case.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
