Instead of using my index, middle, and ring fingers I use my pinky, ring, and middle fingers to do the A major chord. I can get the sound to ring out better this way. Using the first three I mentioned causes buzzing on my index finger no matter how hard I push down. Also, my fingers bump and mute the other strings that way. The second three I mentioned is more compact and under control. But I am thinking it's not proper and/or may be a bad habit/affect chord switching in the future. Does anybody have any thoughts about this?
I would actually call that advantageous to learning bar chords, you should be able to learn them without having to adapt too much
Thank you for your help! Just for clarification, do you say the way I do A major with my pinky, ring, and middle finger is advantageous?
