Hi All,

This is a question for anybody who owns the Moog Minifooger Delay. When you maximise the Regeneration knob and minimize the Delay knob, does it do Self Oscillation/Spaceship sounds like my beloved MXR Carbon Copy?

Just wondering. It would take a lot to knock my CC off my board.

Cheers!

Every delay unit with a feedback of more than 50% does that.

The minifooger delay is included.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

That's not true. If by feedback of more than 50% you mean turning the feedback knob past noon. Not all delays self oscillate. I'm 99% sure the minifooger delay does though, just because thats the way moog does things.

Yeah, it seems like it does. I'd just like a proper demonstration of the 'Spaceship Sounds' I guess I'll just have to wait for L&M to stock these pedals and go try one out myself.

I still love my Carbon Copy, though. Moog stuff is just killer. :P

Sorry for the confusion, I meant that if more than 50% of the signal that's coming out of the delay gets fed back to the input, then the thing will self-oscillate.

Not all delays can do that and not in all delays that amount of feedback corresponds to the middle position of the feedback knob.
