Hi there

I make experimental electronic ambient drone funk trippy music (see link in signature)

I am trying to go on tour, however, I do not know of many venues that allow my sort of style of music. I only know of a shitload of venues that are good for like...bands with multiple instruments and a heavy sound.

I make like chilled, relaxed music that is for people under the influence of drugs/with a very open state of mind ready for meditation.

Do you guys know of venues that would be appropriate for me? Just throw some names out I just wanna get some names, and hopefully they'll be available for me to visit.

Thanks!

Because when I think of meditating, I think of going to an arena full of 10,000 drunk people with used hypodermic needles littered all over the floor. So relaxing!

Posting YT videos of your band and promoting through social media is the only viable way of marketing this sort of thing. This is the worst concept you could possibly think up for a live band. Cuz y'now, drug use is banned in pretty much any venue.

you've gauged your preferred audience, so perhaps find similar artists with similar characteristics to your music that your audience might already like- find which venues they play at. in all reality, there's probably more venues that accept "unconventional" styles of music (depending on where you live, i guess) than you think. you just need to find them.

i am aware this is incredibly vague, uninformed advice.

The Borg Ward in Milwaukee if it's still rocking used to host crazy noise shows.
