Hi guys, I've recently been pretty interested in a tremolo sound, and the apparent movement that it gives my repeating arpeggio lines that I play for some of my post-rock and soundscape type songs.

I do have a Strymon Timeline, but I'm not entirely sure yet how to get a pure tremolo sound out of it, without the delay.

But for actual tremolo pedals, what would you guys recommend for about $120CAD I'm interested in the handbuilt Noisemaker Effects Luxe for $85USD, but the brand is still small and "underground".

Thanks guys.

EDIT: To clarify my budget is $120CAD, so about a $100USD not including shipping.

I was also thinking of building a BYOC tremolo pedal, but I haven't really heard much about them.

This used Red Witch Pentavocal Trem is a little above your stated price, but it is a killer pedal that usually doesn't come this cheaply:

Sit on ebay and try to snipe an Empress Tremolo. Good luck.

EDIT: Catalinbread Semaphore is pretty good too. I prefer the Empress.

Hey guys, what do you guys think of the Malekko Omicron Tremolo? I haven't listened to any demos at this point for it yet.

Malekko makes awesome pedals, but I can't comment on the tremolo.

i love my malekko delays (616 and 616 lofi). but i can't comment on the tremolo.

a easy to find cheaper option would be to look into voodoo labs knob tremolo. i haven't played with one much, but i have the microvibe and proctavia and am satisfied with them. i think diabolical is also a fan, although i am not sure if he has the tremolo.
