Hi everyone,

I wanted to share this thing in hopes of feedback or that someone finds some value from it.
My girlfriend says it sounds like videogame music from Pokemon or something. So I don't know what genre to label.

Nothing fancy in terms of originality, straight 4/4 with mostly regular chords and familiar riff style, I wrote them as something easily playable and think it's a fun playthrough

I want to hear what you like, don't like, and what sort of vocal style you think could go with this. My big sticking point in songwriting is making a good vocal line that stands out and is different from the other instruments. Could always use growls but that's sort of an easy way out. The drums need improvement and probably want an extra rhythm guitar..
*Section D is supposed to be twice as long, but I cut it short. There's a duplicate bass as it sounds weak without.

GP6 only. Thankful for any feedback, but please be constructive if negative. Cheers

There is definitely a video game vibe here! I really like it, it seems like you're capable of balancing your key changes quite skillfully.

Sounds amazing! Seriously, this thread has what seems like a criminally low amount of views and crits. Orchestration is really well done and I agree with btones regarding key changes. Everything seemed very fluid and natural. Also, the harpsichord part kicks ass! I'm loving all the synth stuff, but the guitars get lost in the mix, which is a shame because the guitar parts work really well with the song. Could you do some c4c's?
