I have an option of getting either one of these amps. I'm playing a fender stratocaster deluxe, and I want an amp that will cater to funk rock and gritty blues rock ala hendrix, Clapton, frusciante, morello, etc but with some fuzz thrown in the mix occasionally

Any experience with these amps? Pros and cons, comparisons etc? I played on the jtm and it sounded sweet, have only heard video reviews of the fender so far.

Thanks!

The JTM60 was a budget amp. Get the HRD.

I'd get the HRD. The distortion channel gets flack but I actually love it. Takes pedals really well too and they're loud as f*ck.

Maybe consider the Blues Deluxe if you're not sold on the gain from the HRD III.

That's the advantage of being such a distance from Yianni. I can continue to live my life without fear of stumbling upon his dark terror.

Played on the HRDIII yesterday - didn't like it

Going to try out a Bluesbreaker this weekend. Ideally would love a JTM45 head, but none of those floating around here in South Africa unfortunately.

The HRD is only good if you pretend that it's a single channel amp. You push them with an overdrive for dirt. Ignore channel 2.
