Any medium-tier electroacustic guitar worth buying? I'd rather not spend more than $500, picture that the prices are the same as in the US.

Yamaha generally builds nice guitars at that price point. Worth a look.

Most of the guitar work on that soundscape was electric guitar with lots of ambience.

I have a jasmine by takamine that I had bought for around $350 with a hard case. It has good acoustic volume and is nice to play.
