I'm completely new to guitar effects and pedals but I recently asked to borrow my friends Dad's Digitech GSP21 Legend guitar pedal board and processor. It suprisingly still works, but I have no idea to connect it to my Fender Champion 100 amp. I know that you plug the guitar into the processor, but I'm not sure where I need to plug any other instrument cables in, and how many cables do I need? Can somebody help me?? Thanks!

Try it like this:

Guitar > Amp Input

Amp Send (Pre Out) > Digitech Input

Digitech Output > Amp Return (Pwr In)

It looks like that first picture is just the foot controller to the main unit, which is the rackmount piece. You have to connect the foot controller to the rackmount. The rackmount is the actual unit. There is a pdf of the manual on this site: http://www.tube-tester.com/sites/gsp21/GSP21-main.htm

Looks like a neat unit. You'll probably want to put physical dirt boxes in front of your amp for drive tones.

Hey thanks for the help man! I'll buy some new instrument cables and try it out. I'm sure this thing is older than me so it's going to need some cleaning up ha ha!
