Both with double locking tremolos. I wanna play thrash and heavy metal stuff. With some bluesy classic rock... Amp Randall RG80E 80w solid state. My first electric.

Maybe you should go used. I have a JS32 King V, and while the tremolo isn't bad, it's not impressive either. You would get something better for the money if you go used.

I would go for the Jackson because I prefer a compound radius and their neck shape.

If there is a market with used Made in Japan (MIJ) Dinkies then go that route. The JS line is their entry line (with the JS32 upper entry) so purchase from a place with a good return policy in case the one you get isn't up to snuff.
