I don't understand the graph. Is it suggesting Gospel is more popular than hip-hop? Cuz I just don't believe that

I'm pretty sure country really has like a 15% market share in the US so idk how accurate that graph is.

did u know there are other countries

no.

really though I guessed it was US just 'cause of the 50s section plus the 2000s part is pretty accurate for the US with a few adjustments. I think if it was global some genres would have a much bigger share ("Latin" for example) though that would explain why country is smaller unless this is just for the UK or something in which case this is kind of believable.

That's a really difficult graph to look at. It's more like some crappy attempt at art. Someone should print it out and send it to the Tate Modern.
I have nothing important to say

Half of these genres share similarities or generally overlap each other, rock is not dying for ****s sake. It just smells bad, maybe even looks a bit outdated.

Given the absurdly small portion of the chart that is given to country music even in recent years I am very suspicious of this graph.
THE FORUM UPDATE KILLED THE GRADIENT STAR

Baltimore Orioles: 2014 AL Eastern Division Champions, 2017: 73-78
Baltimore Ravens: 2012 World Champions, 2017: 2-0
2017 NFL Pick 'Em: 24-7

I am pretty sure that even after existing for almost a century country/western/bluegrass and etc is still alive and kicking in one form or another.

Not only in the US.

This is getting kind of tiring. There will always be players, there will always be listeners. Artistic form does not require mass appeal in order to find a home.

About once a month some dumbass makes a thread or a post saying the same damn thing.
If its not on UG, it will be on a dozen other music related forums.
