I just acquired a 1997 Dunlop/MXR Classic Fuzz Pedal with NKT275 Germanium Transistors which I really love. However, it is hardwire bypass but also has input and output buffers build into it so that it can go anywhere in the signal chain, including after a wah. I want to put it on my pedalboard but I don't want to tone suck that hardwire pedals are known for. I have a JHS dedicated buffer on my board as well but everything else, except for the new fuzz, is true bypass. My question is where would be the best place to put this hardwire bypass pedal to avoid tone suck. Before or after the dedicated buffer? Thanks.
