Anyone tried a Soul Food or a Rockett Archer? Heard both were pretty spot on but apparently the Archer is exactly the same as an original hyped up overpriced Klon. Any other note worthy alternatives?

Also how do y'all feel about the fulltone 70's fuzz pedal? Was looking to combine the Klone and that on my board to get an eric johnson-ish lead tone.

Cheers!

yeah i'd go for the archer. ehx build quality is here and there, particularly their switches. if i were to get another soul food, i'd preemptively replace the footswitch.

Why not go straight to fuzz EJ? It'd be cheaper than combining both, unless you want to use both separately.

It doesn't get any better than Fulltone in my opinion. These products are very high quality. It comes down to how much you like that pedal in particular.

On Reverb You can buy a Soul Food modded to Klon specs for less than most boutique clones.
