I'm just gonna say this now I'm a lefty so any suggestions you have just remember there's like a 90% chance a guitar your thinking about isn't available for me. Haha.

Was looking at a Alvarez ad60 or Yamaha fg720s. I hear great things about both guitars/brands so I thought I would ask the community.

And just in case anyone ask my price range is right around what these guitars cost. I'm more of a Strummer then a finger picker but I do play that way some.

A acoustic electric would be nice for the onboard tuner but honestly that's all I would use it for since I don't gig or anything like that I just play at home. But nothing a clip on tuner can't fix.

Please no s6 suggestions not that they're not good guitars I'm just a traditional spruce top and mahogany back/sides guy.

Also I saw in descriptions of the guitars the alvarez nut/saddle is bone the Yamaha I can't find.... Does the material of the nut and saddle matter that much really? I mean I figured anything better then plastic but what's the difference between bone, graphtech, etc?

Thank you in advance

Always nice to meet another left-handi-capable guitarist.

Epiphone has 2 models. First, the EJ-200-SCE it's spruce over maple, but very nice sounding. With Electronics is the only way it comes. ($430.00) http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/epiphone-limited-edition-ej-200sce-left-handed-acoustic-electric-guitar/j06028000003000?cntry=us&source=3WWRWXGP&gclid=CjwKEAjw5disBRCA5r7OjsK_-UgSJAC27JPgbsaLY-KgO1BxrqwOkJ8DoCW6XcmjmsON7oxEV-Z42RoC5Qrw_wcB&kwid=productads-plaid^94171332282-sku^J06028000003000@ADL4MF-adType^PLA-device^c-adid^56775563547

Second, "The Inspired by 1964 Texan". It's sitka over mahogany, electric only as well. People have been raving about this guitar. The hog back is solid, sides are laminate. ($430.00) http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/epiphone-limited-edition-inspired-by-1964-texan-left-handed-hollowbody-acoustic-electric-guitar

The Taylor 110 is available left handed, no extra charge. It's sitka over "layered" sapele. ($630.00).
With cutaway: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/110ceLH and without: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/110eLH

Sweetwater has a lefty Taylor 12 string available, the 115e. Again sitka over sapele, and only electric. (If you're into that sort of thing, with all those extra strings. $750.00 MAP. Sitka over laminated sapele again). http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/150eLH

I believe Cort and Recording King each have one left handed dread in their lines.

Martin's "X Series". (HPL bodies) are available lefty. (They allegedly sound good but basically Formica bodies, meh).
