i swore i would never post a string question. but yea.

i use d'addario nickel blues .11"s for all of my guitars in standard tuning. i buy a 10 pack for $40. that is fine, they work great for me, no problem there.

however i need to find some heavier gauge strings that are in a bulk or value pack. i am not going to pay $8 for ****ing strings, lol. i don't need a ton because i only keep three or so guitars downtuned at a time.

so where could i find some reasonable priced .12's?

or close to that. and yes i am a cheap ass.
____________

TLDR - cheap .12" strings? maybe bulk?

Yup, those MF Dunlop 6-packs are a good deal. Or check out Ebay. Occasionally someone has a good price on string packs. Sweetwater's prices on strings go lower the more you buy so if you check different brands you may find something. And of course Amazon, their prices change by the day but sometimes you find sets for around $3ish.

as odd as it sounds, i am soooo excited to get those strings. i am a very frugal person, and i use the same .11's on everything, and my C#std/dropB guitars were too. i hate how they feel with 11's tuned down a bit, and wasn't enjoying playing them as much. all because i would pay $8 for a pack of strings at a store. i am weird like that. but i will get them on and back chugging.

i haven't slept in 36ish hours now (was drinking until a few hours ago), so i may be a little scatterbrained.
