I've never actually used an amp head linked to a cabinet so I was wondering something:

Many amp heads look like they have speakers. Is this just for show or do some amp heads actually have working ones? I ask this because in all videos I've ever seen I've never seen an amp head that was mic'd up.

No, I judge people based on how similar they are to me.
The greater the similarity, the more of a total ****ing **** they are.

No. Heads do not have speakers. If they did, they'd be called combos and not heads. Some tube amps have openings behind the mesh grill for ventilation. Tubes get hot.
