Hey guys, Im going to get a mid 90s dual rectifier on saturday, Im gonna run it through a Mesa 4x12 with v30s. Im super excited but is there anything I should know? Ive never had a Mesa before and I wanna be able to get the best tone I can, any tips would be great, thanks.

For Metal

Master 9 o'clock
Presence 2 or so depending if SC or HB
Bass 12 or to taste
Mid between 10 and 11
Treble between 2 and 3
Gain between 1 and 3

Honestly, the Dual Rec is very easy to dial specially through Vintage 30s.

Read the manual. Twice.

also...

I have a Traditional 412 cab with V30s as well. My settings are similar to Ippons except my Presence and Bass are two ticks lower and my mids are at 1 oclock. I also run mine in El34 mode. Take the time to determine exactly what tubes you have (brand and model#) and if you can - reseat them all and spray some contact cleaner on the tube pins.
