In my opinion, sonic youth is totally underrated...
I would say At the drive in is the runner up.

Definitely. Srs tho none of those bands are particularly underrated imo. Kyuss are huge in their scene, and it's a pretty big scene.

The Wildhearts. For me at least i think they are extremely underated. Some of their b sides are better than most popular bands A sides.Earth Vs The Wildhearts is one of the best debut albums ever in my opinion.Hopefully someone else will agree with me.

Arsis is my vote. The arrangement of the music on A Celebration of Guilt is nothing short of amazing.

My guitarist is a huge fan of them. They are definitely not my type of music but they are definitely a talented bunch.

Limp Bizkit. Their lyrics are Eminem-level stupid, yeah, but musically they're super creative.

i wouldn't go as far as super creative but some of their songs have pretty cool bits. i used to have three dollar bill y'all (or whatever) in my car before i threw it out my window at a pedestrian i knew. the vocals made a lot of it unlistenable but they were obviously trying and it paid off sometimes.

korn as well. even my mom loves freak on a leash.
