I've recently got myself a shure sm57 mic and I'm looking for a good XLR to USB cable so I can start recording stuff. There's official sexy X2u cable available with preamp and volume/gain knobs and it's all cool and shit but I can't afford it right now because I spent most of my spending money on a mic.
So I'm looking for a cheap-ish cable that comes with a preamp and that sounds decent.

I am currently torn between this

and this

Which one is better? Your other options are also welcome

Looking at that sort of equipment, one thing will be just as bad as another. If that's all you can afford, it'll get you started I guess.

Really though, you should read the stickies so you know what to look for when you have a more appropriate budget.
