My 6 year old brother approached me today and asked me if I could teach him guitar. I almost know that it'll end badly lol.

Should I humor him and try to teach him or not?

If you think you can't, tell him that he'd actually be better off finding an actual teacher

Tell him that one day he'll be a rockstar and that he must follow his dreams.

Probably the most hilarious joke anybody can tell a kid.

THIS! Young kids can't learn on regular sized guitars, unless they are big for their age. I've tried teaching many kids who only had regular sized guitars, and they just get frustrated and quit. They just can't play the damn things.
