I use "Instrument Tuner" - the icon is a tuning fork. It has the following tuning options: Chromatic (which I use), Guitar, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Ukulele.

Hail isn't too edgy for posts, posts are not edgy enough for Hail.

Tried it, didn't like it.

Best I have found so far is Guitar Tuna.

This one looks ok, will try it, thanks! I like that it doesn't have ads.

What I have found with many that have the dial and needle is that the needle sticks....

I use PitchLab Lite. It's got tuners for all kinds of instruments which are really easy to use. It's also got a few needle tuners which work really well. There are lots of different tuner visualizations which are very interesting and fun to play chords and watch what lights up. This tuner is seriously awesome! It's free with no ads on the tuner screens - although there's an ad when you exit the app.
