Money talks-talk is cheap
these are just two things I've observed about paradoxes of common sayings.

When rappers make those songs where they just say money money money, do they, like, paradoxically mean things?

i think they're playing the part of the talking money. money is like pokemon, it only says its own name.

You lost me at "Lubricate."

I'm raw, like nature. Nature boy. Big jungle leaves are my cum rags.

Sometimes I fuck a bamboo shoot.

There's nothing left here to be saved
Just barreling dogs and barking trains
Another year lost to the blue line

No limit to my money I should get a tank,
They walk me through the back entering the bank (CHASE)

Curiosity killed the cat > Cats have nine lives > Life is a highway, I wanna ride it all night long.

The moral of the story: There's being curious, and then there's having a cat orgy in the middle of the road just to see how large the traffic jam will be

You can tell if it's eager, because you put your hand down her pants and it feels like a horse eating oats.

"they say that good things come to those who wait, but if you snooze then you lose, so don't hesitate". oh Joel Plaskett.

There's a common saying for just about anything and its opposite (birds of a feather flock together, opposites attract). a quick glance at any psychology textbook gives an idea of which are on the right track versus bogus.

Actions speak louder than words.
The pen is mightier than the sword.

Good things come to those who wait.
The early bird gets the worm.

Clothes make the man.
Don't judge a book by its cover.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
It's never too late to learn.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Out of sight, out of mind.

etc.

The full saying is actually: " curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back"

It's good to be curious, you learn more about life that way
Eat your pheasant
Drink your wine
Your days are numbered, bourgeois swine!

"Curiosity killed the cat, but you were a suspect..."

Which makes sense, given that I've threatened my cat with an all-expense-paid river excursion (complete with complimentary travel bag) on occasion...

Were you going to have a pet rock accompany the cat in case it got lonely?

it's not where you live but where you pay rent
it's not how much you made but how you spent

ts i like your threads

new testament has a bunch of paradoxical phrases. not gonna type all of it out, but it's like "lose yourself and you will find yourself" and "give things to get things"{ and stuff
it's all just coming back
it's all coming back

it's all coming back to me
