Those are pretty high-end stuff, except for the Rebel T5i. I've got a D5100 myself, but the D90 is top notch.

Yeah they're all incredibly overkill for my uses.

You seem to know your stuff. I have the option of loaning accessories as well. Here is a list:

Nikon Macro Lens AF 105mm F/2.8 EX DG
Nikon Macro Lens AF 70mm F2.8 EX DG
Nikon Wide-Angle Lens AF 10-20mm F/4-5.6 EX
Canon Macro Lens EF 100mm F/2.8 USM
Canon Macro Lens 105mm F/2.8 EX DG
Canon Macro Lens 20/50mm Zeiss Planar T* 20/50mm
Canon Macro Lens EF 50mm F/2.5 Compact
Canon Wide-Angle Lens AF 10-20mm F/3.5 EX DC HSM
Canon Wide-Angle Lens 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC
Canon Wide-Angle Lens EF 14mm F/2.8L II USM Ultra Wide
Nikon SB-600 Speedlight flash
di-GPS Eco Prosumer M GPS Unit for Nikon D5100

Two questions:

A) Do I need any of these for what I'm doing
B) If so, which thing should I get

Nah. Macro lenses are for taking photographs up close. Wide-angle, maybe, if that's what you want to do with it (it increases the horizontal field by capturing a bit more of that plane. It'll distort the edges of your photograph and a bit of the rest of it). Speedlight flash, for portraiture, most likely not.

Yeah, doesn't sound like I'm gonna find use in any of these.

So the D90 is your pick then?

My God, it's full of stars!

The only thing I know about cameras is that they don't love me, but they like me as a friend with benefits.
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

I'd go with the D90 but I kinda prefer Nikon as a brand over Canon (which I can't really explain, anyway). I'd tell you to pick whichever feels best to you but since you have no interest in cameras, that would be moot. I'd say you can't go wrong picking either the Canon 6D or the Nikon D90, it's largely preferential.

EDIT: Sorry, I mixed up the D90 with a different model. Go with the Canon 6D or the Nikon 5100 (6D is a bit higher quality but also a bit more complicated).

Yeah, both are gonna feel incredibly weird to me since I've never actually used a digital camera before. I'll get an opportunity to check out both when I'm back at the photo lab next week but I'll most likely end up going with either of your top two picks.

Thank you.

I voted the last one, because it has the highest number in the name, so it must be good.

I much prefer Nikons and the D5100 is way better than the D90.
The d90 is technically a higher end camera but it's ancient. Low light performance is crap.
The d5100 is superior in every way to the d90.

The 6d is the best camera you have listed though (it's full frame ffs) but it's in another price range entirely. If you have that much cash to spend i'd get a nikon d610.

EDIT:
Now i read your post and saw that you were only loaning one.
The 6D is by far the best choice.

And get this lens "Canon Macro Lens 105mm F/2.8 EX DG" as well as one of the full frame compatible 50mm's if you're doing portraits.

When taking the shot shoot in shadow and use a reflector.
