I currently have a fender frontman 15g, and it tends to have a hiss coming from it. My budget is $300 and below. What would be a good upgrade? I am looking for a good clean sound, and a good drive sound/gain sound.

Perhaps a modeling amp - Fender Mustang, Peavey VIP Vypyr, Vox Valvetronix.

What kind of sounds are you after? New or used? There is a stickie with a list of questions.
Guitars:
Jackson Kelly KE3 - MIJ (Distortion/Jazz)
Jackson DKMGT Dinky (EMG 81/85)
ESP E-II Eclipse Custom (JB/'59)
ESP LTD EC-1001FR (EMG 81/60)
Fender MIM Strat

Amps:
Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster 212
Laney IronHeart IRT-Studio
Peavey Vypyr 30
Peavey ReValver Amp Sims
TOOOO many T.C. Electronic Pedals. . .

Biggest PEavey Vypir you can get IMO. Perhaps the 75 used would be in your budget.
