I have a Jackson RRT-5 with a gloss black finish on the back of the neck. Most RRT-5s I've seen have a natural finish on the back of the (neck-thru) neck. Does anyone know if this black finish is specific to a year or a model or rare. What's the story?

The Japanese-made RR5's all had gloss necks.
Roses are red
Violets are blue

Thanks. Are the Japanese models worth a premium? Can't find any on E-bay.

The Japanese models tend to hold their value/go for more than the MII guitars but they are not sold at a premium like the USA models.
