Homer's a decent character because despite how shitty a dad he is, it's not because he doesn't care - thus drama is born

Oh man how'd I forget Rusty?
Or Brock for that matter, he's more of a father to the boys than Rusty is (and also he has tons of illegitimate children)

Yeah that was the transitional period where they still had a fair few good episodes.

Nothing will ever beat Last Exit to Springfield though.

You Only Move Twice is the obvious GOAT episode

Also, Homer At Bat, Homer's Enemy, Ichy and Scratchy World, Treehouse of Horror V, Cape Feare, Marge Vs the Monorail, Last Exit to Springfield, Bart the Daredevil, Marge on the Lam

I hate Lisa episodes. Lisa's Sax is probably the only exception, but even then, I don't love it.

Peter Griffin is obviously the best animated Dad.

Notice how they replace actual content with things like this because they only have about 6 jokes that have to last them an indefinite number of seasons.

Yeah, the vegetarian one was the worst though because it was basically her treating everyone like shit and then the "moral" was they all should've listened to her more.
