This is a new Gibson gs 1000.... The frets feel like they are tearing off when I do string bendings and are rough to touch. They are made of rose wood. Thanks

PS:Is the limit for attachments 97kb?
I couldn't post attachments

I'm no expert, but on some cheaper guitars the bottom of the metal frets are usually painful to the touch when sliding down the neck. If I run a sand block or sand paper on it a few times, it usually smoothes it out.

One thing that might help you is some fretboard oil and some guitar string lubricant. For the oil, I recommend Fretboard 65 Ultimate Lemon Oil by Dunlop. For the guitar string lubricant, I use Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant. That should help, but also remember that this is a vintage guitar, so that will contribute to the different fret texture.
