No, the short sides are too short. The bare coils should just fit, but the base plate won't. I have a humbucker with a narrow base plate designed to be the same width as a P90 - It came out of an 80s Burny LP Jr.

If you want to check, look up pickup dimensions on somewhere like the Seymour Duncan site.

Guitar Fetish makes some mini humbuckers with adapter rings made to fit in a soapbar P90 routing. They may be worth looking into for ya.

Nope. But you could order a P-90-sized humbucker from the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop. If the hum is a problem, you could order a hum-cancelling P-90 Stack. If the output is a problem, you could get a Hot P-90 which adds a overwound coil to a ceramic magnet.
