I'm not really a beginner, well I guess I am but I've got decent playing on a chinese guitar and amp and am buying a prs for $600 and am looking for an amp to express it . my price range is about 200aus$ although can increase if it is worth it.

What if i raised my budget to 300 or 400? I think i would be willing to go to 400 if its worth it.

Oh nvm, i can't do local pickup. That's 'close to me' but a few hours drive away, and i'm young so I can't do that XD.

That's a shame. The Classic 30 is a great amp. You could have had that one cheap.
You didn't answer my question really though; where are you?

This one is fairly good. Don't let the Line6 logo fool you, they are a lot better than a Spider.

Is there any sound demos for this? And do you think it would be able to play lead guitar decently in a small room? If not I'd just prefer to save up more, since I'm really ocd about those things XD. Thanks again m8.

It's the only thing I do when I get home from school, so I want to make sure I enjoy what i'm playing and that it doesn't sound bad (if i play right)

I would have suggested to put the $600 in the amp rather than the guitar... This is what I did and I believe it was correct (thanks to UG folks recommendation)...

Save up more and get a decent tube amp

Yeah, they work fine at low volume.

I've decided I'm going to do what the guy said and put more into the amp since it's alot of the sound, so does anyone know a tube amp at the price of 600-800ausd$? Thanks for the help m8s.

Nobody's bidding on this. Great amp, I gig with mine quite a lot.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Randall-MTS-RM-20-Guitar-Amp-No-Modules-/301764764477?hash=item464294e33d

And spend the money on a good preamp module from one of these guys:
http://salvationmods.com/index.php?page=modifications
http://www.jadedfaithmods.com/mts-mods.html

Belfield Music in Sydney have a brand new one for $500 including postage. Not sure what module is in it but you can simply use whatever you get as a donor module for a Jaded Faith or Salvation one.
http://www.belfieldmusic.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=Randall+MTS+Series+RM20
That's where I bought mine and I paid $600 for it.

Edit: There are a few MTS modules on ebay. The two Jaded Faith ones are very good, if you want a jcm800 or Mesa Mark tone. Or I guess you could just buy the cheapest one and send it away to get whatever takes your fancy (if you buy the ebay RM20)
