Hello I'm looking for a 100 watt tube head for a range of styles Korn, Limp Bizkit, Evanesence, Smashing Pumpkins through to stuff like clean Coldplay Brit indie type stuff.

I've been looking at the Blackstar Series Ones, but is there anything people can recommend in this price range?

Thanks!

guitar guitar has some good deals on mesa stuff currently (though whether it's ex-demo, returned by customers etc., i don't know- they have a bit of a rep for shipping out stuff like that as "new" I think). Might be worth a look.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I'd go for a 5150 III, either the 50 or the 100w version.
Or a rockerverb 50 mkII.
Name's Luca.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.
