Videography is great. Some nice amp porn there.
Just a suggestion. Maybe fast froward the bits till 45 seconds or so? Would look cool, plus would get to the actual track sooner.

As for the track itself. Damn, it sure is mixed nice. So smooth and clean. Very crisp airy mix. I like. Great drum work. Everyone's tight though.

I really like this. Very well done. Nothing to criticize, honestly speaking, except maybe turn up the guitars in the chorus? They seem to get drowned out by the bass. It might just be my sound system though. Great transitions, drum work really stands out. Vocals very very clean and tight, I see no sloppiness anywhere (my pet peeve, indie artists who play sloppily and claim to be raw ) great tight work everywhere. This is good good good stuff.

Thanks for the feedback brother (I did the same for you on your track).

James is indeed a fantastic drummer...he plays in multiple bands around this area because it is basically impossible to find someone with his skill level at a more local level. Thanks for all the luv <3

Awesome, but not my cup of tea musically. I appreciate the talent you all have here its great. And the song is up-lifting with a good sense of emotion coming from the whole band. And the drummer is top quality! He knows his stuff for the song I think it is written well, its arrange well to play with the right energy, and the melody is nice too. Are you all British?

I loved this. You guys have such a nice sound, somewhere between indie and post rock. The mix is sensational. A huge sound but everything is clear and still feels "light". Honestly I have nothing to criticise. I might be tempted to turn the drums up slightly but that's about it. Brilliantly done.

Great work man! You guys are a great band!

I really like the track, it's very ambient and atmospheric for a rock track, it makes me feel like I'm floating alone in an ocean. I really hope to see more from you, Oakheart could go a long way

Definitely appreciate the positive feedback, especially considering our type of music isn't necessarily your thing. As much as we would like to benefit from the sophistication of British accents, none of us are actually British...we are from Dallas, Texas y'all

I'm impatient, 45 seconds before music starts is a bit too long. Yes this is my problem and it's something I have to work with, but a lot of people are impatient and might not wait the 45 seconds before skipping the video altogether

Cool reverb on the guitar.

Reminds me of Reign of Kindo a bit

Are the vocals a tad too loud? It's not bad but your style is more about sonic landscapes rather than the traditionnal pop stuff... I find that having hem blend a bit more with the instruments might not be a bad thing. Could be my horrible speakers, though.

This is going to be an unpopular point: A lot of bands do videos with no particular attention to the way they dress. They wear what they were wearing that day anyways. It's not bad, and you're definitly not alone doing this. But dressing well (or outlandishly) is a very easy to call attention to yourself. I'm not saying put on a tuxedo, but in my opinion, you can do better than a plain t shirt. Again, there are a ton of famous musicians dressing exactly like you and it's working for them so I might not know what I'm talking about.

Good stuff though, your singer is cute. Our singer is cute too. C4C?

Definitely appreciate this post. Good amount of nuggets to share with the band. Nice call out on the Reign of Kindo, a few of us are/were very into that band a couple of years back.

I could agree with you on the vocals...it was actually a suggestion we threw out before this video was finalized, but ultimately didn't want to fight too hard for since our vocals are usually so quiet live. In the future, I do think we want the vocals to be a little closer in volume to the guitars, so point taken.

Also heard on the outfits (though this is probably us on a good day). It's just kind of a weird discussion point that has gotten shot down in the past. Hopefully over time this will change and we can learn to match our handbags to our shoes.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! what kind of scoring were you looking into? and as far as my background, ive played guitar for about 7 years now with some piano thrown in between. I have little to no schooling, unfortunately but I wont let that hold me back! I loved your video. great sounding mixing and a well done song. The harmonies were great too. I liked your band on facebook!

damn, I really enjoyed the production of the sound, very good stuff. The drumming sounds nice as well. The vocals fit well with this style. Also i enjoy the clean atmospheric guitars. I love the girls vocals mixing with the male vocals. the only thing is the vocals sound a bitt dry but nothing drastic. Very cool guys.
