Of people and friends?

The last time I actually had a huge celebration like that was during my 12 or 13th.

Since I moved a lot, I rarely hear or see from everyone.

And so from there on, I just go some place like a nice restaurant with me parents and siblings. we have good food from buffet.

No. I haven't even gone out since my 20th.

last birthday I had I drank to try and kill the emotions I had the night before and had a hangover.

The one before that my girlfriend cheated on me.

wot srsly

Yup.

TBH, any birthday that doesn't start or finish in a hospital is better than my 21st, so there's a really low bar.

My birthday tends to be the worst day of the year for me, Halloween a close second.

So no, usually it's just a small thing tho I'd prefer no celebration at all, but then I'd have to deal with conversations about why I hate my birthday.

I go out with friends so it is a group but it varies. Last year was 5 people and 2 of them were my cousins. The year before that was 85 people. The year before that I made a fb event so we could go clubbing and 200ish people said they were attending and idk how many showed up I wasn't counting.

I always have a birthday meal with my family too at a restaurant.

Last yea my birthday was on Super Bowl Sunday so we had some people over to watch the game and it was fun. Probably won't do anything this year since it's just a normal day.

I'm not really a fan of being the center of attention so I don't mind. I honestly didn't even want the people over that much last year.

I don't like getting THAT much attention. On my 25th I went out with a few friends and had dinner with them. And on this next one one of my friends took me out for an executive lunch at work at a local pub.

I tend to shy away from big parties unless its for someone else.

My birthday falls on or around US Thanksgiving every year so it sorts itself out that way.

That sucks..Mine is around Christmas time.

I know how you feel, sort of...

nope

havent had a proper "birthday party" since i was like 13 years old srs

im in my mid 20's now haha

I just spend my birthdays doing what i love, with my family or a few close friends

you know, light up a few joints, drink a little, chill.

i honestly hate the whole "birthday" tradition, it's so chitty if you're not a kid.

I don't live in the same country as my family and I don't have a big group of friends here so usually it's either just me and my girlfriend, or her family will take me out, or both. Last year I'm pretty sure I worked my birthday so didn't do anything. It's not that big of a deal anymore

I don't celebrate birthdays, and I don't wish anyone a happy birthday.

This dude at work the other day went "hey you didn't wish me a happy birthday" and I said "that is correct"

...modes and scales are still useless.

I don't celebrate my birthday, or any holidays either for that matter. I see all days as the same, which really annoys me when places are closed when I need something right at that moment. I understand why we keep track of the seasons for agricultural reasons, but the concept of set dates for celebratory events is so arbitrary and weird. It causes so much undue stress and needless spending/drama.

Edit: The only time I'll change this attitude is when I'm married and/or have children. I personally don't give a flying fuck about holidays, but kids do, and spouses aren't usually fond of missed anniversaries.
В словах есть что-то неприличное.

Ive never hosted a party since I was in primary school.

Im always so anxious and fearful people wont come or it will be lame

I love going to other peoples parties, because they always seem to work out well.

But no, I try to keep that kinda shit low key so I dont get disappointed.

No, I don't want to celebrate my birthday. Haven't wanted to do so in years.

I usually get together with some friends and have something good to eat, usually watch a movie or two. Then there's the family party, where we get together, eat some cake, I open some gifts (usually money or socks or something I need), then leave a few hours later. Just as it should be. Not a big fan of celebrations.
#35
Yeah. This last birthday I just had will probably be the last one I celebrate with a bunch of people, though. I graduate college next year and all of my friends will probably be going their separate ways. Or maybe not, I dunno.
#36
I like going out for a meal with family or maybe a pint or two down the pub but I got over clubbing a good few years ago and my birthday's in January so people are too skint to do stuff anyway.

It's always around the FA Cup 3rd round though so that's good times. Not managed to make it up to the actual game yet though.
#37
I don't even celebrate it.

My friends threw me an awesome party on my 19th birthday and since then they always talk about wanting to do it again but never do. This year on my 21st I just went to the bar with two friends and had a few drinks, nothing special.
#39
I used to. Not really so much anymore.
My birthday is Jan. 1st, so if someone announces it if I'm in a bar or nightclub, I get tons of free drinks.
Back then I was often hungover as fuck on my birthday.
Which wasn't really much different from a normal day back then.
#40
Ehh depends. Last year I went out with a group of people on the saturday, then different people on the sunday. Didnt bother going out properly this year. Just went around to a friends house cos it was the first day of the football/gaysoccerball season and he was having people around for a bbq and drinks.

I'm not usually that arsed about celebrating my own birthday lol
