Hey folks,

So me and a few buddies have been jamming out in the garage with an electric guitar and a rather loud drumset, and just today we picked up an acoustic amp for an acoustic guitar we've had laying around.

Biggest issues we're having with it is intense feedback, especially when there aren't any notes being played. We are probably going to pick up a soundhole cover, but will that be enough to fix this problem? Any advice on how to set up the amplifier to be able to crank the volume without getting feedback?

Thanks

Turn your guitar's volume or gain down ffs and if the amp has a gain control turn that down too a bit

reducing the bass on your guitar's preamp and not standing near amps will help too. but mostly just turn down the guitar's volume/gain
