I was in the Liquor store a few weeks ago and some random stranger asks "Hey man you got some trees? Sort of confused I said no but realized while leaving he was looking for green/bud/ganga/chronic. This is the point where my street cred has totally run out

These days I hang with my posse on the cube farm where everyone is perpetrating intellectual fraud while speaking in monotone.

Trees is a not uncommon term for the dangerous narcotic marijuana. Addicts also refer to this harmful highly addictive drug as, slope, the one, trinket, November ticket, bus ride. On the West Coast degenerates use the term Christmas pie. Sometimes it's called rutabaga pie. Be on the lookout. For addicts become highly agitated under its influence become very dangerous.

It causes severe brain damage and insanity. Users also become sexual perverts.

People just started calling it medical since it's "club or nothing" mentality now.

I've heard that term used for marijuana before, but mostly from coke dealers/users.

I thought this was going to actually be about trees. Trees are cool.

John Muir writes very well about trees.

A few minutes ago every tree was excited, bowing to the roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease. Every hidden cell is throbbing with music and life, every fiber thrilling like harp strings, while incense is ever flowing from the balsam bells and leaves. No wonder the hills and groves were God's first temples, and the more they are cut down and hewn into cathedrals and churches, the farther off and dimmer seems the Lord himself.
My God, it's full of stars!

You could make an argument for that, but I was really thinking about how slang terms in general change every year.

Dude was almost about to cry when I said that I didn't have any trees. But I reaaally need some trees. (all bummed out)
